Margi Clark has been a professional in the beauty industry since 1975. She is a licensed cosmetologist, a former salon manager, salon owner, and Admissions recruiter.
She has worked as a professional educator for manufacturers including Joico, Helene Curtis, Gerda Spillman Skin Care and Matrix.
Her experience has included doing platform stage work for several industry icons including Eric Fisher and Farouk. She has worked national distributor trade shows all over the country for distributors including Peels, State, Armstrong McCall and Victory Supply houses.
She entered cosmetology school right out of high school, (much to her parent's regret) and then set out to prove this was a great industry by owning her first salon at 23!
Her career has allowed her to appreciate all aspects of the industry and has taken her back to her roots in salon ownership as the owner of 2 local salons and Student Admissions at EQ School of Hair Design.
She loves being a mentor to younger stylists and stays current in the industry with daily motivation from her staff of amazing professionals at the salon and the excitement of students in the school. She truly has the best of both worlds.
Some of her most rewarding moments come when stylists that she has helped mentor over the years see her years later and say they are successful because of the things they learned from her.
She is passionate about promoting the image of the hairstylist as a professional and loves the salon industry!
